Changing yarn can be very easy, but it can result in a hole in your fabric if not done correctly. To avoid this, you must twist your yarn together at the color change.
Knit the required number of stitches of the first color until you reach your color change.
The front of your knitting should look like this.
Purl the required number of stitches of the first color until you reach your color change.
Insert the needle in the stitch as if to purl, drop the working yarn
The back of your work should look like this
